‘MEEN’ is Yungsta’s debut album alongside Sez on the Beat. This concept album is divided into three acts – Head, Heart, and Hand (inspired by ‘heart, head and hand decrees of leadership’ and metaphorically used for ‘mind, soul and body’) which takes us through a spiritual journey of finding and reconnecting with our true selves while exploring different aspects of mental state, motivations, emotions and actions.
In the album, Yungsta slowly threads together the story of a person who struggles with his own self and finds the confidence to overcome these and achieve what he strives for while learning to float and swim through the ups and downs, ultimately taking full control of his life. The element here being ‘water’, is derived from Yungsta’s zodiac sign – Pisces a.k.a MEEN (in Devanagari script) and the protagonist here is emotionally aware, a lover, and a dreamer, just like any Piscean!
